Vexa® is inspired by classic riding helmets, transforming the traditional skull cap fit with a grit surface made for gripping your hat silk.
Cutting-edge design and safety development deliver impact, penetration and crush-resistant properties. Lightweight yet strong from every angle, it features a corrugated ABS twin shell construction, with reinforced PC rim. Airflow from strategically positioned vents reduces heat stress for maximum comfort without compromising safety. Inside, a washable headband and optional padding bring clean, fresh comfort and an individualised fit.
The 360° wrap fit system with control wheel is inspired by cycling and ski helmet technologies, and specially engineered for equestrians. The rear control wheel adjusts the fit of the helmet all the way around your head, avoiding pressure points and ensuring a secure and comfortable wear. A safe, quick-release mechanism allows for easy putting on and taking off. The harness fits close around your face, with in-moulded attachment points and a low-profile Nexus clip for a sleek finish.

How should I care for my helmet?

Your helmet should be cared for like your own head. Each comes with a protective bag, and using a LeMieux Hat Box helps prevent knocks and scratches. The finishes use automotive-grade, UV- and abrasion-tested coatings for long-term durability. The central padding is removable and can be machine washed at 30°C.
How do I adjust the fit of my LeMieux helmet?

Use the 360° Wrap Fit control wheel at the back. Turn clockwise to tighten, counterclockwise to loosen. Add the 5mm or 10mm padded ‘donuts’ inside the helmet to fine-tune the fit.
Livraisons et retours
We want you to be completely happy with the fit of your new LeMieux helmet. If it isn't quite right, you can return or exchange it, provided the conditions below are met.
Return Conditions
- Do not remove the warranty/returns tag. Returns will only be accepted if the original tag remains attached.
- The helmet must be unworn. You may try it on to check the fit, but helmets that have been ridden in cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons.
- Return the helmet in its original packaging. Please ensure the helmet is securely packed with adequate protective padding around the box to prevent damage during transit.
- Include proof of purchase. A valid proof of purchase is required for all returns.
- Damaged or incomplete returns cannot be accepted. Helmets with removed or damaged returns tags, or those damaged in transit due to inadequate packaging, may not be eligible for a refund.
The following are often considered normal wear and tear when a helmet has been used:
- Scratches caused by jewellery, branches, storage conditions, or everyday handling.
- Make up stains or marks
- Discolouration resulting from cleaning products or environmental exposure.
- Cosmetic changes resulting from normal use.
Before riding, ensure your helmet fits correctly and comfortably. If you're unsure, we recommend visiting a LeMieux preferred retailer for a professional fitting. This is the best way to achieve the correct fit and maximise safety.
