Marine Saddle Pad - FAQs

Why choose a LeMieux Marine Saddle Pad?

A LeMieux marine saddle pad offers a sleek, stylish and professional look to your saddle. Made from a range of technical fabrics, each pad has been carefully crafted for excellent comfort and performance. You’ll find them in various cuts suited for different horse riding disciplines, including dressage and show jumping.

What are LeMieux Marine Saddle Pads made of?

Discover LeMieux marine saddle pads made from suede, carbon mesh and woven satin. We also have materials that enhance comfort and security in the saddle, including anti-slip gel, memory foam and grippy silicone.

Many of our new marine saddle pad styles come with a super soft bamboo lining that removes sweat and moisture directly from your horse’s skin. This helps regulate temperature, keeping horses cool and comfortable.

How should you look after a LeMieux Marine Saddle Pad?

Your LeMieux marine saddle pad will look and perform as well as new with the right care. The good news is our saddle pads are machine washable at 30 degrees. Before popping in the machine, close all fastenings and check the drum’s big enough for your pad. You should also remove dried sweat, dirt and debris with a stiff brush.

Once your saddle pad’s been washed, pull it into the correct shape. You can then dry it naturally away from heat.

How long can you use a LeMieux Marine Saddle Pad?

As long as you look after your marine saddle pad properly, it’ll last you for years. Our saddle pads are reinforced in areas of high friction, meaning they can withstand anything horse riding throws at them. However, all saddle pads go through wear and tear.

They all need replacing eventually, but when depends on how often and long you ride for.
