LeMieux x World Horse Welfare – the partnership continues

LeMieux is proud to have been World Horse Welfare's official partner since 2023. Since March 2022, our wonderful, generous customers have donated over £28,000 at checkout, for which we’re incredibly thankful. This significant contribution has directly translated into more vital support for the equine residents, making a tangible difference in their lives.
When life gives you Lemon, make lemonade

You might have spotted a special guest if you’ve recently been to a LeMieux event. Lemon Lemieux, the 8.5hh Shetland, has become our well-loved (and very friendly!) company mascot. Lemon came to World Horse Welfare in a multi-agency operation at a horse fair. Lemon wasn’t doing well when they arrived at one of World Horse Welfare’s farms, and no one claimed ownership. That’s until February 2023, when LeMieux founders Robert and Lisa LeMieux rehomed Lemon, appointing her LeMieux’s Head of Pony Relations (PR). Her important business has already included meeting and greeting customers, rigorous product testing and launching our Design Your Own and April Fools campaigns…she was last spotted in the Design department!

LeMieux staff – here to help

But that’s not all; team LeMieux has been stepping in with even more activities to help World Horse Welfare this spring and summer. Staff from the 150-strong team at LeMieux’s HQ in Wellow, Hampshire, have shown their dedication by spending days volunteering at World Horse Welfare’s Glenda Spooner Farm, further strengthening our partnership. They were sent to work in the fields, clearing the banks of the pond and removing plants like ragwort, which is dangerous for horses. Some gardening and soft landscaping were also called for…as well as the inevitable poo-picking!

Buzz off!

LeMieux donated a huge parcel of Fly Masks and Fly Rugs to the horses and ponies at Glenda Spooner farm in the spirit of gifting. As equestrians know, summer brings hordes of flies and biting insects, which can particularly bother older, sensitive-skinned, and unwell horses – just like those that World Horse Welfare cares for. Rescued pony Maisie did a bit of modelling while she decided which one suited her best!

LeMieux x This Esme is an uplifting collection of horse and rider wear in corn and dusk blues with subtle branding, bespoke designs and technical features that equestrians will love – all inspired by enjoying special moments spent with your horse.

Stay tuned for more giving
