Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF)

The Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) is the world’s largest and longest-running equestrian competition, hosting 13 weeks of elite sport each winter in Wellington, Florida. Held at Wellington International, it features Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) show jumping, top hunter and equitation divisions, and marquee events like Saturday Night Lights. Running January through March, WEF is a key highlight of the global equestrian calendar.

Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event

The Defender Kentucky Three-Day Event, held each April at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, is one of the world’s most prestigious eventing competitions. Featuring CCI5*, CCI4*-S, and CSI5* levels, it draws top international riders and is the only event outside a championship to host all three in one weekend.

The American Equestrian Trade Association (AETA), founded in 2007, is a nonprofit representing over 370 equestrian product companies. The Western & English Sales Association (WESA), founded in 1921, is a leading nonprofit connecting retailers, manufacturers, and sales reps in the Western and English markets. Host of the world’s largest Western/English apparel and equipment trade shows, WESA showcases 550+ product lines at its biannual January and August events—serving as a central hub for industry business, education, and networking.

United States Pony Club (USPC)

The United States Pony Clubs (USPC), founded in 1954 and modeled after Great Britain’s Pony Club, is North America’s largest equine educational organization. Its nationally recognized curriculum teaches riding and horsemanship while fostering leadership, responsibility, and sportsmanship through education, certification, and competition for youth and adults.

The United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), also known as US Equestrian, is the national governing body for equestrian sport in the U.S. It oversees licensed competitions, supports athlete development, selects and funds U.S. teams for international events including the Olympics, and upholds horse welfare through strict standards and industry collaboration.

Kentucky Horse Park (KHP)

The Kentucky Horse Park (KHP) is a 1,200-acre, state-owned working horse farm and international competition venue in Kentucky’s Bluegrass region. Opened in 1978, it features live equine programs, year-round events, and the International Museum of the Horse, celebrating equine sport, history, and culture.

Tryon International Equestrian Center

The Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) is a 1,600-acre, year-round equestrian and resort destination in North Carolina. Host of the FEI World Equestrian Games, it features world-class arenas, stabling, dining, shopping, lodging, and major competitions across disciplines—along with popular events like Saturday Night Lights.
