What are the benefits of LeMieux stable bandages?

It’s common for horses to strike their legs – even when they’re in the stables. Stable bandages protect the lower legs from cuts, and bruises caused when travelling or in the stables. They also warm up the muscles, tendons and ligaments. This helps prevent swelling and injuries.

How should you look after LeMieux stable bandages?

You can wash your stable bandages in the washing machine at 30 degrees. Close all hook and loop fastenings and put them in a wash bag to protect the fabric from damage. It’s best to dry your stable bandages naturally away from heat. Put them on an airer or washing line after cleaning – don’t use a tumble dryer.

How often should you replace LeMieux stable bandages?

Change your horse’s stable bandages every 12 hours. If the bandages are clean, dry and free from the build-up of dirt and debris, you can reapply them. Otherwise, replace them with a clean pair to keep your horse comfortable.
