What are LeMieux Ink Saddle Pads made of?

Our ink saddle pads are made from a variety of premium, high-quality fabrics. This includes woven satin, suede, carbon mesh, memory foam, anti-slip gel and grippy silicone.

 

For enhanced comfort, many of our new styles come with a super soft bamboo lining. Bamboo removes sweat and moisture directly from your horse’s skin to keep it feeling cool and comfortable.

How should you look after a LeMieux Ink Saddle Pad?

To keep your ink saddle pad performing well for years to come, remove dirt, debris and dried sweat using a stiff brush and put the pad in the washing machine on a standard 30-degree wash. Close all fastenings first to prevent damage and check your drum’s big enough.

 

Once your saddle pad’s clean, shape it when damp and dry it naturally away from a heat source.

Even though LeMieux ink saddle pads are hardwearing and reinforced in areas of high friction, horse riding does wear them out. They’ll last for years with the right care, but all saddle pads need to be replaced after a certain amount of use.
