Combining style and function, the Merino+ Suede Close Contact Square offers the excellence expected from the Suede collection, with the comfort and pressure relief of our technical Merino+ blend, designed to fit forward-cut jumping saddles.

Our Close Contact pads are not just any pads. They are expertly designed for jumping, with a high wither cut, elasticated D-ring tabs and a swept-back profile, providing the perfect fit for your jumping needs.

Our Merino+ rolls are for more than just show. They deliver the look and security of a half pad without adding bulk under the saddle. Our unique Merino+ blend, which combines natural Merino with technical fibres for style and performance, keeps the saddle stable in style while reducing pressure on your horse's back. Merino+ thickness is between 18-20mm (uncompressed).

A durable suede-effect fabric upper pairs with our signature soft, breathable, friction-free bamboo lining. The natural bamboo blend lining material controls heat and efficiently wicks sweat to keep your horse cool.

The whole pad benefits from extensively researched friction-free suede-effect binding, which is specially fabricated to contour the edges smoothly. This new technique helps retain the perfect saddle pad shape and binding profile.

The durable, textured PU leather girth protection area protects the pad from the rider’s boot, and our signature LeMieux inner girth strap channels ensure a precision fit.

Info & Care

Remove hair, dirt and dried sweat with a stiff brush

Machine wash at 30° on a cool/wool cycle or hand wash

Advised to wash in a wash bag

Use Lemieux Wool Wash (available from LeMieux)

Straighten/flatten cotton fabric after washing

Air dry only away from any heat source. Never tumble dry

Avoid using strong fabric conditioners

Please ensure all hook and loop is closed firmly prior to washing
