High-withered saddle pads also help prevent rubbing and stop your horse from feeling restricted when it moves.

What are LeMieux high-withered saddle pads made of?

LeMieux’s high-withered saddle pads are made from a range of premium-quality materials. This includes suede, woven satin, carbon mesh and memory foam. Some even come with sparkly details for a show-stopping look.

You and your horse will benefit from the luxury bamboo lining. It wicks sweat and moisture directly from skin, keeping your horse’s temperature regulated throughout the seasons.

Who are high-withered saddle pads for?

Horses with a high wither tend to have a narrower back compared to normal horses. The bump between the shoulder blades is taller than average, creating a sharp angle.

High-withered saddle pads are roomier than normal saddles and have deeper rear gussets. They stop the withers from rubbing against the saddle, maintaining your horse’s comfort.

How should you look after a LeMieux high-withered saddle pad?

Our high-withered saddle pads are as easy to care for as our normal saddle pads. You can place them in a washing machine on a standard 30-degree cycle. Before doing so, close all fastenings to prevent accidental damage. Once washed, reshape your pad and place it on a washing line or airer to dry.
