Why choose a LeMieux Black Numnah?

LeMieux black numnahs offer a classic look in and out of the saddle. Stylish, sophisticated, and beautifully crafted, they suit any horse rider and match perfectly with more vibrant colours. Whatever your discipline, there’s a cut and shape to suit.

Our newer designs have a soft, friction-free binding. This feature helps retain the perfect saddle shape and binding profile, adding a touch of luxury to your horse riding wardrobe.

What are LeMieux Black Numnahs made of?

Our black numnahs are made from suede, shaped gel, merino lambswool, cotton, carbon mesh, and memory foam. There are also styles with silicone grip to stop the saddle from slipping. To help regulate your horse’s temperature, our newer styles have a sweat-wicking bamboo lining. It feels comfortable against the horse’s skin, offering an extra layer of protection.

How should you look after LeMieux Black Numnah?

To take care of your black numnah, close all hooks and loops and remove dirt and debris using a stiff brush. You can then pop your pad in the washing machine on a gentle 30-degree cycle. As soon as the numnah is clean, reshape it when damp. Then, dry it away from a heat source on a line or airer. It’s best not to use the tumble dryer.

How often should you replace LeMieux's Black Numnah?

Your black numnah should last for years – as long as you follow the care instructions. Removing dirt and debris after every use will also protect the fabric. Don’t be alarmed if your numnah experiences wear and tear. This is completely normal. However, it does mean your numnah will need to be replaced at the end of its lifespan.
