What are LeMieux Brown Numnahs made of?

Our brown numnahs are beautifully crafted from cotton, suede, carbon mesh, woven satin, anti-slip gel, and self-cooling fabric. There are also styles designed specifically for sensitive horses. For additional comfort, many of our newer numnahs have a sweat-wicking bamboo lining. This helps regulate the horse’s temperature, keeping it cool in summer and warm in winter.

How should you look after LeMieux Brown Numnahs?

Our brown numnahs are incredibly easy to care for, as they can be washed in the machine on a 30-degree cycle. Use a stiff brush to remove dirt and debris, and close all hooks and loops to protect the fabric. You’ll also benefit from using a wash bag. Once washed, reshape the pad and leave it to dry on an airer or washing line. Never use a tumble dryer, as this will affect its shape.

How often should you replace LeMieux Brown Numnahs?

If you follow the wash care instructions and remove dirt, debris, and sweat with a brush after every use, your brown numnah should last for many years. All numnahs undergo wear and tear. Yours will need replacing at some point – but when depends on how often and how intense you ride.
