What are LeMieux burgundy numnahs made of?

Our burgundy numnahs have a beautifully crafted woven satin finish that adds a wonderful sheen to each pad. Made from cotton, anti-slip fabric, and even diamantes, each numnah strikes the perfect balance of style, sophistication, and performance. Our newer styles also have a bamboo lining. It is 100% natural and wicks away sweat and moisture to keep your horse’s temperature regulated in any weather.

How should you look after a LeMieux burgundy numnah?

Before washing your numnah, remove dirt, debris, and dried sweat with a stiff brush and close all fastenings. You then place it in the wash on a cool cycle. 30 degrees is perfect. If you have a diamante burgundy numnah, we’d recommend using a wash bag to protect the fabric. You might also want to hand wash the pad to minimise the risk of damage. After removing your numnah from the washing machine, pull it into the correct shape when damp. Then air dry it away from the head, avoiding a tumble dryer.

How often should you replace a LeMieux burgundy numnah?

LeMieux burgundy numnahs are designed to withstand frequent riding. They’re reinforced in high friction areas, making them durable and hard-wearing. However, horse riding naturally leads to a lot of wear and tear. You’ll need to replace your numnah once you notice signs of damage.
