Pony Numnahs - FAQs

What types of Pony Numnahs does LeMieux offer?

The LeMieux pony numnahs offer the same technical features as the main range. As well as the bestselling woven satin Loire collection, we have suede and Junior Pro numnahs in dressage, general purpose, and close contact cuts.

What are LeMieux Pony Numnahs made of?

We use only the finest materials to craft our pony numnahs. Within our range, discover pads made from super soft suede and woven satin. Our numnahs are also made with a unique bamboo lining. This innovative material wicks sweat and moisture directly from the skin to help regulate your pony’s temperature.

Which Pony Numnah will suit my horse?

Take a look at our colour collections page to see which colours are best suited to your pony.

How should you look after LeMieux Pony Numnahs?

LeMieux pony numnahs are easy to care for. You can place them in the washing machine on a standard 30-degree cycle. First, remove dirt, debris, and dried sweat using a brush and close all fastenings. We also recommend using a wash bag to protect the pad. When damp, reshape the saddle pad and dry it away from heat. We don’t recommend using a tumble dryer.

How often should you replace a LeMieux Pony Numnah?

Depending on how often mini and junior riders use their pony numnah, it should last them for many years. To keep it in the best conditions, remove dried sweat and dirt with a brush after every use and follow the wash care instructions carefully. All pony numnahs experience natural wear and tear. They will need replacing at some stage – especially as small riders grow.
