What are LeMieux White Numnahs made of?

Our white numnahs are made from cotton, merino lambswool, suede, lambskin, woven satin, cooling fabric, carbon mesh, and silicone grip. To keep your horse cool in the saddle, our newer numnahs feature a temperature-regulating bamboo lining. It wicks sweat and moisture directly from the skin, adding a layer of comfort.

How should you look after a LeMieux White Numnah?

White numnahs need more care than other shades, but with a little care, you can keep your pad looking as good as new. Before washing, close all hooks and loops and remove dirt, debris, and dried sweat with a stiff brush. You can then pop your numnah in the washing machine on a 30-degree cycle. Once clean, reshape the pad when damp and let it dry on an airer or washing line. Never use a tumble dryer, as it may affect the fabric.

How often should you replace a LeMieux White Numnah?

All pads need replacing over time – and white numnahs are no exception. However, as long as you take care of it and remove debris after every use, it should last you for years. Wear and tear is normal, but once you see significant damage, it’s time to upgrade.
